This past Wednesday, I was on assignment to shoot World Fashion Chicago for Latin Webzine, an online latin website launching with a focus on important people in their respective industries. The World Fashion Chicago runway show broke away from Chicago’s fashion week this year to stand on its own sovereign feet. Always a riveting display of fashion as a cultural statement, the show Wednesday featured more than 35 designers with ties to Chicago’s 28 Sister Cities around the globe — not just Paris and Milan but also Accra, Ghana; Amman, Jordan; Petach Tikva, Israel; Vilnius, Lithuania; Shenyang, China; Mexico and much more.
