Simple and Beautiful. Often times, I find that larger wedding celebrations distract all of us from the whole point of the wedding day. This wasn’t the case with Jamie and OG. They had their closest friends and family attend their early afternoon wedding out in the public in front of the Water Tower at Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.

It was an honor to be asked by a my friend Daryl to shoot his small, intimate wedding in Waikiki, Honolulu Hawaii. This would be my second time there within 3 months. I love my job!! Capturing Ana and Daryl’s wedding made me realize that destination weddings are absolutely the best way to get married. On a frigid February afternoon, Erica and Mark decided to tie the knot and seal their love for one another at St. Julian’s Church and cap off the night with a celebration at the Belvedere Banquet halls in Elk Grove, IL. When I shot their engagement photos at their favorite location – a local movie theater, I knew these two were madly in love and destined for each other! Their love for the movies carried over to some of the details on display at the reception! Enjoy some samples:

Last month, I had the privilege of shooting Vicky and Rich’s wedding aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas Cruise ship – the biggest cruise liner in the world. We ported in Fort Lauderdale and began our journey to the eastern Caribbean islands of Nassau Bahamas, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas. I had such an amazing time and it was truly a blessing to spend the week with some dear friends. I’m gonna have to do this again at least once a year! What an amazing year it’s already been! 2012 started off with a beautiful trip to Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu to shoot Kelly and Jamie’s wedding. Being that it was my first time in Hawaii, I had to bring my wife with me to enjoy the beautiful destination. Our wedding day started off with preparations at their hotel in the popular Waikiki area, followed by a picturesque wedding chapel at the beautiful Paradise Cove Resort. We ended the perfect day at the brand new Disney Aulani Resort for their reception. Enjoy some samples from their wedding!
